Thank You

As we're pressing on towards sending our first shipment out, we give thanks to those that are helping along the way:

First, a thank you to Dave, Patrick and Jason for following through with the trip and going. Who knew that initial journey would blosom into this--expanding a library and furthering encouraging Tim and New Creation Ministries in Kigali that we are supportive and with them!

A very grateful thank you to Ginny, from Operation Mobilization, who is helping us get books at a large discount. This enables us to buy even more books from our donated funds.

Another very grateful thank you to Skip and Saddleback Church. They are having 200+ persons going to Rwanda by the end of March and are able to take the books we have purchased over to Tim. This is free shipping and will again, allow us to purchase more books from our donated funds. Lastly, but certainly not least, a thank you to those that have begun to donate books from the wish list. We are receiving and cataloguing these. Also a grand thank you to the family that donated a large sum to us for the purpose of expanding the library. In about a month's time, the first shipment of donated and purchased books will be in Kigali, Rwanda!

Cheers!

welcome!

welcome to our site!

this space is designated to share with you our current status on getting books to kigali, rwanda and to also invite you to join us in thought, dialogue and action.

this past summer, the church of wrigleyville sent three church leaders to rwanda to grasp how to better serve and love the people of kigali. by listening to various needs from the three upon their return, the four of us thought we could tangibly meet one: providing more tools and books to an existing theological library. currently, new creation ministries theology school houses the second largest theological library in the country, which fills a few bookshelves. the need is to provide more tools and resources that the common person and student can utilize and enjoy. this will also aid the school, which is run by tim brubaker, in the accreditation process. as last summer turned to fall, and fall to winter, our team looks forward to begin the purchasing, cataloguing and shipping process so that this next summer, the first shipments of books will be held and browsed by the people of kigali.

alicia, dave, cele and jessica are excited to reflect our community and be a part of making this project into a reality. we invite you to be a part of this journey as well. stay tuned. :)

cheers!
